Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026
At BlocksRacer, we believe you should always know what happens to your personal information. No confusing legal jargon, no hidden agendas, just a straight, honest explanation of what we collect, why we need it, and how we keep it safe.
Our store runs on Shopify, which helps us deliver a smooth and secure shopping experience. If anything in our general Terms of Service conflicts with this Privacy Policy regarding your personal data, this Privacy Policy takes precedence.
By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described below.
1. What Information We Collect
When we say "personal information," we mean anything that can reasonably be linked back to you. Here's what we may collect depending on how you interact with us:
Information you give us directly. When you place an order, create an account, or get in touch with our support team, we collect details like your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and payment information needed to process your transaction securely. If you contact us, we'll keep a record of that conversation too.
Information we collect automatically. When you browse our store, we automatically pick up some basic technical details, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you navigate our pages, including what you view or add to your cart. This helps us understand how our store is being used and how we can improve it.
Session and usage analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to log and analyse all sessions on our website. These tools record how you interact with our store, including page views, clicks, taps, mouse movements, scrolling activity, time spent on pages, and general navigation patterns. Microsoft Clarity may capture session replays and generate heatmaps of user activity, which help us identify usability issues and improve the shopping experience. Google Analytics helps us measure traffic, understand where our visitors come from, and see which parts of the store perform well. These tools collect data through cookies and similar technologies, and the data they gather may be processed by Microsoft and Google on their own servers in accordance with their respective privacy policies. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement and the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Information from third parties. Sometimes we receive information from trusted service providers like Shopify or business partners who help us run our store and manage our advertising.
2. Why We Need Your Information
We only collect what we actually need. Here's what we use it for:
To fulfil your orders. Processing your payment, shipping your kit, and sending you tracking updates so you always know where your build is.
To improve your experience. Remembering your preferences, setting up your account, and helping you discover kits you'll love.
To understand how our store is used. Analysing session data from Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to see how visitors interact with our site, spot problems, and make the store faster and easier to use.
To keep things secure. Screening for fraudulent activity and keeping your account and our store safe.
To communicate with you. Answering your support questions and, if you've opted in, sending you emails about new releases, drops, and promotions.
To meet our legal obligations. Keeping certain records as required by law or responding to official legal requests.
